- Eloise puts on a tiara.
- Mommy: Say, "I'm the Queen!"
- Eloise: I'm the Queen!
- Daddy: What do you decree?
- Eloise: More orange juice!

As a child-handler, I’m only as good as the images the images I enable the camera operator to capture. In this case, my wife nails it again in her newest work entitled:
DEFINE LOITERING..

Eloise understands that inspiration is a gift to respect with an appropriate amount of follow-through.. even when it means doing yoga and laying on the floor at Ikea.

When the three of us came home after buying Eloise her tap and ballet shoes for the dance “class” she’s been attending for about a month (she’s 22 months old now), Michelle and I dusted off (in my case, literally) our tap shoes, pulled up a big tap number in Annie on YouTube, and went to town, dancing in the kitchen.
I’m so glad we made an impression on her.. -
Eloise is going to love this. Among her favorite things in the world are animals and covering dolls in blankets and scarves, tucking them in or swaddling them.

Eloise dances with a Dinosaur to “Tap Out” by The Strokes
When it comes to improvised physical storytelling, Eloise is advanced by any standard.
This number passes through many moments and culminates with a sudden turn of events..
0:16 - Rides the dino
0:45 - Skips with dino
1:00 - Tosses dino aside for dancing bow
1:20 - Swinging with dino
1:45 - Tosses dino in chair.. says “hi”
2:01 - Holds dino above her head triumphantly
2:29 - Introduces dino to mommy
2:35 - Rejects mommy’s dance
2:46 - Tragedy strikes! -
I never intended on teaching my daughter yoga until she was at least speaking decent English.
But Eloise likes to do what she sees us doing. When she’s awake, she’s busily looking for new things to explore, new ways to test herself and experiment. Also, she’s a baby genius.
In these pictures, she’s doing Downward-facing Dog and Happy Baby (I wonder if the benefits are amplified by her use of a pacifier), and teaching her baby how to do yoga too..

They both await my command..

Although she can manage 3, sometimes 4-syllable words, mostly Lu shortens words to 2 syllables. My favorite is her version of marshmallow.
